Country headliners Iron Cowboy and Tommy Steele rocked
ThunderBash102 at Monticello Casino and Raceway where a surprise
announcement was made this past month: local radio host Paul
Ciliberto would appear as the Narrator in the Forestburgh
Playhouse production of
The Rocky Horror Show.
Just before intermission, Playhouse producer Norman Duttweiler
took to the stage to announce to the crowd that Paul Ciliberto,
host of the concert as well as host of Sullivan County's most
popular local morning radio show
Ciliberto & Friends,
would be bringing his own brand of wild and crazy theatrical fun
to the stage of the Forestburgh Playhouse July 10 - 22.
Although fans of the classic rock musical about a
sweet transvestite from Transsexual, Transylvania, may be
disappointed to learn that Mr. Ciliberto will not be appearing
in heels and fishnets, in his role as the Narrator he will get
to introduce the signature dance number in the show, Time Warp:
"It's just a jump to the left..." |

As fans of
Ciliberto & Friends know, Thunder 102 is strongly supportive of
both local and national charities,an
attitude the Forestburgh Theatre Arts Center at the Forestburgh
Playhouse strongly supports. For
this production, the Forestburgh Playhouse is partnering with
Thunder 102 to raise money for seven different local charities:
10% of all single ticket sales for The Rocky Horror Show will be
donated to these charities. Each of the charities will receive
the 10% proceeds of 2 performances of the 14 performance run.
