Are you more the outdoors type? One of the Eastern Seaboard's principal nesting areas for the American Bald Eagle (our country's official bird) is just one mile from the Forestburgh Playhouse. The Eagle Institute has lots of information about viewing these majestic birds. If your interest lies more in fish than birds, the Catskill Fly Fishing Museum in located just 20 miles from the Playhouse near Roscoe, NY, near the site of our world class trout streams.
