The Forestburgh Playhouse Academy offers arts education programs that are designed to enrich and provide the highest level of artistic growth to students with a passion for the performing arts. With the mentorship of NYC based, working theatre professionals, a supportive and safe environment and unique programming that is linked to the professional, Forestburgh Playhouse stage, the artistic possibilities for Academy students are endless! Step into the spotlight with confidence! The Forestburgh Academy’s Spring Into Auditions Workshop is a two-day intensive designed to help young artists shine in the audition room. Guided by working theatre professionals, participants will refine their audition techniques, strengthen their performance skills, and polish their materials—from monologues and songs to that tricky audition choreo combination.

The experience culminates in a real audition for the Forestburgh Playhouse’s 2026 season, where young artists will be considered for roles in the 2026 Jr. Resident Company, Dear Evan Hansen, and The Wizard of Oz. Whether you’re preparing for your first big audition or ready to take your training to the next level, this weekend offers the tools, insight, and confidence to perform your best when it matters most.

Tuition: $500


Our beloved one-week program is back—brighter and bolder! Designed for Young Artists aged 8-12 who love to sing, dance, and perform, this immersive musical theatre intensive provides one-on-one mentoring from teaching artists across the country. The week culminates in an exciting original fractured fairy tale production for family and friends to enjoy. 

When choosing “deposit only”, full tuition is due before July 18, 2026.

Two Weeks
Ages 13-17
Tuition: $1000

Calling all teens! Step into the spotlight during this transformative two-week program for Young Artists aged 13-17. Participants will collaborate with experienced directors, choreographers, and music directors -- combining expert training with unforgettable memories. This session culminates in performances of a full length musical for family and friends to enjoy. 

If paying with deposit, full tuition is due before JULY 18, 2026
