The Forestburgh Playhouse Academy offers arts education programs that are designed to enrich and provide the highest level of artistic growth to students with a passion for the performing arts. With the mentorship of NYC based, working theatre professionals, a supportive and safe environment and unique programming that is linked to the professional, Forestburgh Playhouse stage, the artistic possibilities for Academy students are endless! Musical Theatre Intensive (Ages 8-12) - ONE WEEK

July 20th - 27th, 2024

9am-5pm

Tuition: $500

$200 deposit option available - Payment balance required by program date.

Everyone’s favorite ONE WEEK Program is back and better than ever! This musical theatre intensive is designed to educate and enrich 8-12 year-old Young Artists who love to sing, dance and perform. Young Artists will work one-on-one with working directors, choreographers, and music directors from across the country.

The week will culminate with an ever popular original fractured fairy tale! This year we MMMBop back to the years of AOL, Blockbuster, and the iPod Classic to tell the story of a wooden puppet longing to be real. Join us this summer as we Get The Party Started and say Bye Bye Bye to the Millennium with No Strings Attached: A Pinocchio Story!

2-Week Musical Theatre Summer Session! (Ages 13-17) - TWO WEEKS

July 29th - August 11th, 2024

9am-5pm

Tuition: $1,000

$200 deposit option available - Payment balance required by program date.

We are thrilled for the return of our 2 WEEK CAMP for Young Artists ages 13-17. During these 2 weeks, Young Artists will work one-on-one with working directors, choreographers, and music directors from across the country. The camp will culminate with a full length musical for all of their family and friends to enjoy.

We are over the moon to announce that our Two Week session will culminate in The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical! Adapted from the best-selling book The Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan and featuring a thrilling original rock score, The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical is an action-packed mythical adventure "worthy of the gods".

Fall Cabaret Workshop (Ages 8-17)

September 15th - 21st, 2024

Monday - Friday - 4pm - 8pm

Saturday/Sunday - 10am - 6pm

Tuition: $400

$200 deposit option available - Payment balance required by program date.

Fall at Forestburgh means it’s time for the Fall Performance Series featuring Broadway stars, local musicians, and the Young Artists of the FB Academy! In this one week, after school session, Young Artists will not only work one-on-one with professionals from around the country, but they will star in the Forestburgh Playhouse’s Fall Series! The camp will conclude in a cabaret style performance for family and friends to enjoy. Space is very limited for this program so be sure to register early!
