TAVERN STAFF

The Forestburgh Tavern is critical to the overall success of the Forestburgh Playhouse in its two equally important functions:  to give our dining patrons a tasty and fun restaurant experience, and to provide the Playhouse company members with wholesome and delicious meals as well.

 

The Playhouse employs a professional chef and a tavern manager, as well as a number of kitchen staff involved in food prep, cleaning, and general tavern maintenance.  Aside from the chef and the tavern manager (who often doubles as bartender), members of the kitchen staff are typically local high school or college students who are interested in a summer job in a youthful and non-conventional environment.  The Tavern also hires local waiters (18 years or older).
