The Forestburgh Playhouse Academy offers arts education programs that are designed to enrich and provide the highest level of artistic growth to students with a passion for the performing arts. With the mentorship of NYC based, working theatre professionals, a supportive and safe environment and unique programming that is linked to the professional, Forestburgh Playhouse stage, the artistic possibilities for Academy students are endless! Beauty and the Beat - $15
Get excited to head all the way back to the '80s with Beauty and the Beat—a fractured retelling of a tale as old as time... after time. From boomboxes to ballroom dances, this totally rad reimagining is packed with laughs, larger-than-life characters, and enough '80s nostalgia to make you want to dance your way to happily ever after.

Freaky Friday - $15
One magical mix-up. Two switched lives. Endless chaos! Freaky Friday: The Musical follows a mother and daughter whose lives are magically swapped at the worst possible moment. As they race to survive school, work, wedding preparations, and family drama, they'll discover empathy, understanding, and that sometimes the people who drive you the craziest are the ones who love you the most.

Due to overwhelming interest in the Forestburgh Academy Musical Theatre Ensemble Experience (ages 8-12), enrollment is currently available by waitlist only. We encourage you to add your name to the waitlist, and if space becomes available, you will receive an email from forestburghstudio@gmail.com with next steps.
Our beloved one-week program is back—brighter and bolder! Designed for Young Artists aged 8-12 who love to sing, dance, and perform, this immersive musical theatre intensive provides one-on-one mentoring from teaching artists across the country. The week culminates in an exciting original fractured fairy tale production of Beauty and the Beat: A Tale As Old As Time After Time for family and friends to enjoy!
